In 1996, Family Health Centers, Inc. was accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC), a prestigious healthcare accrediting agency. The Joint Commission verifies the health center is providing quality care and is compliant with nationally recognized standards and continuously makes efforts to improve the care and services it provides.

In January, 2011, The Joint Commission again verified Family Health Center's Inc.'s continued compliance with established standards through site audits and re-accredited the organization for an additional three years.
